“ALTERNATIONS” – LP remixed & remastered

Recorded with an impressive line-up: Wojciech Staroniewicz – saxophones, Sławek Jaskułke – piano, Michał Barański – double bass, Hubert Zemler – drums and guest Leszek Możdżer – piano, the album “ALTERNATIONS” was released exclusively on black, 180 gram vinyl, in a limited and numbered an edition of 300 copies.
This is another vinyl album after “Tranquillo” – recorded with the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Sopot conducted by Wojciech Rajski and Andrzej Jagodziński Trio, which was released by Allegro Records in Sopot.
The music on the album consists of Wojciech Staroniewicz’s original compositions, in which, in a characteristic way, he combines expression with lyricism, precise arrangement with a wide space for personal, improvised speech by outstanding musicians invited to play together.

The recording took place in the legendary S-4 studio of Polish Radio in 2008. Using the original tracks, meticulously stored in the Allegro Records archive, the tracks have now been re-mixed and mastered by Marek Romanowski in the Maro Records studio. In our opinion, these treatments gave an excellent sound result. We are sure that it will satisfy the expectations of even the most sophisticated audiophile.

The graphic design of the album is the work of Rafał Chomik, an artist from the Tri-City, who has been working for many years takes care of the design of our publications, filling them with a characteristic atmosphere.
