Ludmiła Jakubczak is a singer who is definitely worth remembering. Popular in the 1950s, she died tragically in 1961 at the age of 22. She left behind many beautiful songs: from the beginning of her career “Alabama”, to the most popular hit “When I miss you”. 62 years after her death, Przemek Dyakowski and I decided to remind you of some of the songs of this extraordinary artist. Using the swing style, which is the hallmark of our team, we have attempted to give the compositions of Jerzy Abratowski, Hanna Skalska or Władysław Szpilman a slightly different color, while maintaining great respect for the originals.
If you happen to think that now there are no such songs as before – this album is just for you. Great texts by Kazimierz Winkler, Agnieszka Osiecka or Kazimierz Szemioth are doing great, even in the 21st century, and together with excellent music, they still make an extraordinary impression: they create a mood that is difficult to find in a fast-paced, chaotic world on a daily basis.
Do widzenia, Teddy
Żurawi klucz
Dwie szklaneczki wina
Dziwny kiosk
Szeptem
Powiedz coś miłego
Wakacje z deszczem
Dla ciebie kolczyki gwiazd
Gdy mi ciebie zabraknie
