Description
Bunch of Chairs Orchestra was established at the end of December 2018. Their music is original compositions of the band members
on the border of illustrative and film music with elements of ethno music and jazz. The musicians forming the Orchestra have performed many concerts and recorded albums with stars of classical, pop and jazz music (e.g. Mietek Szcześniak, Andrzej Jagodziński, Dawid Podsiadło, Agnieszka Wilczyńska and many others). Bunchairs’ concerts, through their instrumental composition, lead viewers into the world of acoustic music, as well as electric, lyrical and melancholic, spontaneous
and energy. Thanks to such an explosive mixture, they are always very warmly received by the audience.
The cellist and artistic director of the band, Małgorzata Maśluszczak, was nominated for the Fryderyk 2023 award for Album of the Year in the Contemporary Music category.
