The latest album by Marek Jakubowski Trio is a collection of eight compositions interwoven with themes reflecting a wide range of feelings – from moving, with a hint of uncertainty, changing into a cheerful, optimistic mood. For many years I have dreamed of a project with a saxophone, Hammond organ and drums, and another lucky twist of events in my life has just now made outstanding musicians and wonderful colleagues – Paweł Zielak and Witek Janiak agree to take part in it. While the titles and the mood of these themes may seem light, even infantile, their structures and forms require enormous imagination and virtuosity.
